Padi Scuba Courses
Discover Scuba | $149
MDC offers a Introductory scuba dive for beginner divers with little or no experience. Great class for those who just want to see if scuba diving is for them. Intro class begins with class/ pool skills to get familiar with scuba equipment and beginner skills. Once we are all comfortable in the pool then its out to the ocean for a shallow guided dive. Our Padi professionals will keep you safe so you can enjoy the underwater world.
No experience is necessary for the intro dive class. We give very individualized attention to each diver and keep our classes very small. There is NO certification with the intro dive. We offer several certification courses below. Intro dives are offered at 7am, 11am, and 2pm.

Scuba Diver Course | $349
MDC offers the Padi Scuba Diver Certification course for those with limited time on there vacation. This course can be done in one day or two days. Students will need to complete 3 academic sessions, pool skills and 2 ocean dives for certification.
Includes all gear and student materials (book or elearning NOT included) Classes start at 7am and 11am.

Open Water eLearning | $425
MDC offers the Padi Open Water Scuba Diver Certification Course. This course can be completed in 2 days. To complete this course students must bring a completed padi elearning paperwork to class the first day. You can complete this online Before coming to Maui. Please call MDC if you have any questions.
Day one consists of paperwork and a short elearning quick test. Once this is completed its into the pool for our confined water skills. Then a lunch break and off to the ocean for 1 or 2 of our open water dives. Please allow much of the day for us to complete this.
Day two is back at the ocean for our remaining dives 3 and 4. Also 2 if not completed the prior day. Once all the dives are completed then it's finish up with paperwork and picures for your NEW Padi Open Water Scuba Diver Certification cards.
MDC cannot gurantee the ammount of time it will take to complete this course. It depends on how well all of the students do. We are very patient with our students.

Open Water Book | $575
MDC offers open water certification with the book. This course is for those who would like to do the academics portion with a book instead of elearning. The book must be read and all knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter completed before starting the first day of class. This course can be completed in two(2) days.
Day one starts with paperwork and going thru the knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter. Once this is completed we go to the pool for our confined water training skills. After the pool we will take a lunch break then out to the ocean for one or two of our 4 open water dives.
Day two starts with meeting at the ocean for our remaining 2 or 3 open water dives.Then we finish up with paperwork and pictures for your certification cards.
MDC cannot Guarantee the amount of time it will take to complete this course. It depends on how well all the students do. We are very patient with our students.

Advanced Open Water | $449
MDC offers the Padi Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver Course. This course can be completed in two days or spread out over your vacation. You must be Open Water Certified and have read the 'Adventures in Diving' book with the knowledge reviews completed on the 5 dives we will be doing or have completed the Adventures in diving online.
There are two core dives that must be completed: The Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation.
There are also 3 elective dives we do: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Dive and Search and Recovery.

Rescue Diver | $449
MDC offers the Padi rescue diver course. This class can be completed in two days and includes classroom sessions and open water sessions.
You must be a advanced open water certified and have read the rescue diver book or completed rescue diver online. You will also need to have a Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
Divers describe the recue diver course as the most challenging and rewarding course they have ever taken. Why ? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and gain confidence in you skills. You learn to manage stress and deal with emergencys minor and major.

Dive Master Course | $899
MDC offers the Padi Dive Master Course. In this program you will learn leadership skills in and out of the water. You will complete water skills and stamina exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems.
This program can take several weeks and depends on how fast you progress. The program includes classroom study and helping with dive classes. Please call to get more information.
Diver Prerequisites : Certified as a Padi Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver. Must be 18 yrs old and have at least 40 logged dives at the start of class. Must have completed ERF Primary and Secondary training within the last 24 months. Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within the last 12 months.

Book online now!Nitrox / Enriched Air Diver | $79
MDC offers the Padi Enriched Air Diver Course and is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives and leaves many divers feeling more refreshed and energized after their dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver. You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations.
If you’re a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course.
This course takes about 1 1/2 hours of classroom time. No diving involved. Requirements – Open Water Diver ages 12 and up. Touch, PC eLearning completed or Enriched Air Diver Book Read. Must bring materials to class.

Refresher Dive | $119
MDCs refresher dive is perfect for the certified diver who has not been diving for a while. Our certified Padi Instructors will go over whatever you need to get all tuned up and ready for diving again. Then will will go on a dive with you to make sure your ready to dive again. Great for divers who want to go boat diving but need a refresher before going.
All our refresher dives are held in shallow and calm ocean waters. We can do refreshers in a pool if needed. Refresher dives available at 7am, 11am and 2pm

Referral Dive | $375
MDC offers the Padi Open Water Scuba Certification Refferral course. Students must have completed the academic and Confined water sections of the course before taking the refferral. You must bring in all the paperwork signed off by a Padi Intructor before class starts and must not have been longer then 12 months.
Day one is paperwork and 2 ocean dives.
Day two is two ocean dives and final paperwork and pictures for your new Padi certification card.
This coarse can be completed in two days. We offer this coarse at 7am
